My cold is nearing its grave and Spring is really, really coming.
The orange glow is highlighting the pretty green leaves and sprinkling life on the tree twigs. Oh, I ♥ Spring.

So I'm not the only one obsessed with that zip up black skirt? haha, i love it! I've actually found a solution to my problemo but will tell you all about it next week.
Today was the last day of term (i missed it) at school. I was ill with the cold so I stayed at home finishing coursework. I'm quite proud, I fought my addiction and didn't do all the fashion stuff until I had done work.
I've got a few more random customizing clothes ideas (i should call it the uneducated seamstresses' latest 1 step easy peesy DIY tips) and bits to show you, that will come later in the week.
Although I've got tons and tons of exams to revise for this holiday, with 2 weeks off and spring on its way I feel that the real Skyla might start to resurface again. The superfreaky one :p. She hasn't been to visit for awhile.
Also I was visiting Isa's blog and found this deliciously, simple, laid-back video for the campaign of Charlotte Ronson S/S 08 collection. I'm now also desperate for the CR cream crochet dress. Carla Bruni sings beautifully throughout it in French. It's got me wanting a 2 week relaxing break by the sea in a little house just to breathe and spend evenings with smokey guitar instrumentals round a campfire. Hmm.
Have a lovely Friday tomorrow. Here's to the sun.
*Picture from my cluttered collection of photos from Easter. never got round to posting them but the yellow suits my mood.

Aww cute pictures!
Yay for Spring - it's pretty much here. How exciting, right? :)
Are you a designer at all? Or interested in textile-type things? Just out of curiosity...certain things mentioned on your blog would suggest that you are, but of course, I could be wrong...
Have a great weekend! :)

Hey! Thanks for checking out my blog and sorry it took so long to return the favor. Your blog is pretty cool. Cool pictures.
Sadly, I also have a cold...but it's coming to an end. Spring is here! It's finally getting a bit warmer and sunnier here in Vancouver, Canada--and I can't wait till it's the summer! Woot.
I hope you have a good Friday too.
It's finally starting to look like spring around here, after all my complaining. It's been the longest hardest winter ever!
Romany- well clearly I love fashion :) but no, i'm not a designer and not planning to be one either. i can barely sew! i'm learning this summer. No, i just thought i'd share my simple DIY experiences for fun :)
Thank you for comments!
