1979

Yesterday my sister came back from visiting my dad in holland. With other little surprises, she brought me this from my dad. He seems to be my intuitive perfume psychic, whenever i need perfume (without telling him) he gives me some!

Last year i told him i was looking for vintage atomiser perfumes to decorate my improvised dressing table with.
My sister and him went to an antique shop where coincidentally they were selling lots of these kinds of perfumes. Apparently the woman who used to own them had collected them for decades, never used them and the owner of the shop was trying to convince to her that what she had collected was worthy of a perfume collectible museum/exhibition.

Avon California Perfume co. Anniversary Keepsake 1979, Atomiser Eau de Cologne. The perfume inside is unused and lavender scented, i'm still deciding whether i will wear it as it is quite strong, but the bottle is enough to keep me happy.

Dad knows best.
that is so sweet of him.
I love the old school spritz bottle, they should make them more like that. It gives it more of a glamorous vibe!!!

Whoa, how cool to know that your dad buys you perfume. I'm pretty sick of my own cologne and have been looking for a new one. I hate sampling. It gives me headaches. There's one that I really like by Giorgio Armani, but literally every guy on the street wears it. I need my own scent. I just want someone to throw me a bottle and force me to wear it. It'll be so much easier.
