ebay preview: military jacket

First of all, thank you for the interest in my ebay previews. I've got a couple of pictures of the military jacket, as described in the previous post. Sorry the pictures aren't great, but i have art to get to!I'll be putting all the items up on ebay later this week.

Ok, so now a description for the jacket.
Aubergine colour.
Brand new, with tag
From Dorothy Perkins
Label reads UK size 12, but i don't think this is quite right. Here's my version of sizing:
size 8: oversized jacket
size 10: depending on your size could be fitted, slightly loose, or oversized.
small size 12: fitted
Don't be worried that this jacket is a 12. I think that it will look great fitted, but also oversized.
Material-100% cotton
hook and eye fastening
3 pockets shown are decorative.
purple ribbon round the seams.
brassy buttons, band style.
criss cross detail on lower back of jacket.
Check back later this week for links or leave a blog or email for me to contact you at with a notification.
Here's what I wore at the weekend. I was feeling uninspired so it's not a great outfit. Well, as soon as i get some money I will keep revitalising my wardrobe.

I bought a few things in Holland, this pair of red patent pumps from Esprit was one of them. Actually my dad bought these. I was in V&D looking for some patents, tried on a mid heel pair but they just didn't look right. I glanced round and spotted them, looking lonely and sitting their next to a stack of shoes boxes, in their Esprit box. They're the perfect fit and were the last pair! Were 60 euros, reduced to 30= £20.

(fake leather jacket*): H&M Young
grey vest: New Look
blue skinnies: Topshop
gingham top (worn backwards): unknown second hand
red pumps: Esprit
bag: Den Haagse market
necklace: Freedom at Topshop

Thanks to my little sis for taking the pics in my back garden =) And excuse the weird facial expression in the 2nd, I was messing around.

*I've been wanting a leather jacket for a while. This wasn't my 'ideal' one, I've been looking for a vintage, well worn one, in between brown and black, which biker style, but not too much. Fussy, i know. =) Anyway i often take a look through the kids sections in shops. They're so cheap! And i found this jacket in H&M Young (in Den Haag) for just 15 euros. £10!

Last Night's Last Minute Outfit

At some point all girls claim to have nothing to wear.

I'm not exaggerating, but last night that's exactly what I was saying. With buying xmas presents and being busy with coursework, I haven't bought that many new clothes lately. Surprisingly.

I didn't have anything new to wear.

I wasn't that happy with the first outfit anyway, but my mum sealed the deal for it not to be worn when she said it was slutty. And that my friend's (who was hosting the girly party) Christian mother would not approve...

This is what I finally chose to wear.

Cobalt dress: hippy market in Ibiza

Heeled ankle shoes: Zara

Clutch: Red Herring

Charm on necklace: Pilgrim

Tights: god knows

The dress was orginally knee length but it just didn't look right like that so I rolled the top part down to make it a mini.

I'm off to do some French work now. Then my Romeo&Juliet essay. Post my buys from yesterday later! x

A (Not-So-Quick) Quick Update

Has anyone ever tasted the delight of Linda Mccartney vegetarian Sausage rolls? mmmmmm...They've become my daily healthy pleasure. I'm eating one right now, with butter melted over the top.

Followed by After Eight and toffee ice cream?

I believe I have some recent buys to show you...I find Accessorize a little too pricey generally, but when their sales come-it's heaven. I spent about half and hour in there last week with my friend going through all the jewellery, belts etc. I spotted these. A silvery hoop bracelet and a bronze chain necklace entwined with a turqouise beaded necklace and a very thin chain. They came to about £3 for both of them, orginally being about 6ish each!

Had my friends round on Friday for a belated birthday sleepover, one of them gave me The Sweetest Thing for my brithday, which I've seen before but love. It's a bit of a silly film but it satisfies my girly and sexual mind. Ok, I made that sound very twisted. Basically it's about a film about three girlfriends (one is Cameron Diaz) who are all in turn unlucky in love, they have a lot of fun together, do girly things and sing The Penis Song. Ha!

Anyway I'm sidetracking. I also got over-the-knee black socks, I bought them for a cute look, come summer with high-waisted shorts/a skirt etc. £1.50! Also accessorize.

Then my friend spotted this red belt. I'm not usually into circular thingmybobs-whatever the belt holder part is called. I find them a bit seventies. But I'm trying to b r o a d e n my style, so why not? This picture really doesn't do the colour of it justice.

And finally, I got this top from Topshop. I tried a load of things on in the changing rooms, none of them were right. I was just leaving when I spotted this silvery metallic vest top. It was an 8 and reduced to £10. I only spent £20 on all of this!

Today I'm staying in, like I've had to alot recently doing endless coursework. I'm wearing

a green chiffon style top (Topshop) (the green is so much prettier in real life!)
skinny jeans
my new Accessorize bracelet
a leopard print scarf round my waist
and my beloved Topshop boots
-vamped up with a splash of red nail varnish ;)

My mum found this book for me the other day in Oxfam bookshop. It's in amazing condition and she got it for just £1! Seeing as I've just seen the Spice Girls it's really cool to have this book all about them, their childhoods and backgrounds and climb to international fame.

Thought you might like this part of Victoria's pages...

Now I really must go and revise for my Phyics exam tomorrow...
Till next time, next buy, next crave, next obsession, next love ♥
